Hi, can somebody with the live sound system in a Gen 6 get me a picture of the back of the door card and also confirm how the speaker grills are held in place.

this is the door card front

i only need a pic of the back of the 4" speaker.

I'll take some pictures for you tonight, unless someone else posts any before I do.

The grille could be replaced pretty easily, it's held on by 4 tabs made out of the metal mesh from the grille. If the plastic around the grille is held on by screws, I can't remember...I'll have to check. I need to take my door panel off tonight anyway as something is rattling.

The other difference between the two is that the lower speaker grille is made out of metal 'mesh' instead of the straight plastic lines that the 6-speaker system has.

for the 4inch speaker the grill plastic is held in by screws. The grill is held onto the plastic housing just by four bendable tabs. If you wanted to do the premium sound, all you have to do is get the speaker and bracket that screws onto the door.

this is not something easy to find at a yard. you may want to order these items new from the dealer, they are not expensive as far I remember.
