I fixed the power oss and hesitation. But in the process I had to drain my ac/ line so its no functional. I figure I will leave it till next summer. So I want to remove the ac idle up valve becaus ethe ac is unhooked and I think there is a vacum leak around the ac idle up valve. So Is all I have to do is unhook all the vacum lines going to the ac idle up vale and cap them off? Is this the right way? Also I have dialed in my mbc at 13lbs for now. I have a fcd that I never installed but want to because I hit fuel cut at about 15-16lbs and I want to run atleast 15lbs. The thing is about the fcd I lost the install directions. Any one can tell me what 3 wires to soder the fcd into?

what was the cause of the power oss? and what is a power oss anyway?
![]() Yes, you just disconnect and cap everything off. As for your fcd, use google. no one here knows what fcd you have or what color wires it has so its impossible to say. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned

Well the power loss not oss LOL, but it was caused by a vacum cap on my wastegate port that had fell off an I did not know. So I believe it was hitting fuel cut because I think it was running open boost? But All I know is I put the vacum cap on the port and it works fine. But I also grinded down my ebay dp's flange even though I did not think it was holding open the flapper but its possible this also could have caused the power loss. It was like a serious hesitation at higher rpm an boost. So either the flapper was open or the vacum leak was running open boost. Still not sure but its fixed and I hope its over. I still have a intercooler pipeing leak. I did not know it till I turned the boost up and I can hear it whistle at high boost situations. So I have 2 more pipes to weld and I will have done away with the coupler holding it together. I noticed when I fixed the vacum port that was missing the cap, well I had to readjust the mbc. I guess it was affected by the acuator not being used. I have a two r us fcd I am tring to find a diagram for it

email twosRus, they are normally very helpful.
when you grind down the downpipe flange, make sure you are using an OEM gasket on there as well, and use that as a templet for what parts to grind off. I had to do mine a while ago as well. there is fuel cut and knock response. fuel cut cause your check engine light to come on. knock response can feel like fuel cut, but there is no CEL. You know It happened like you described the knock response. Because I hit fuel cut once and the cel light came on. But when I experienced the power loss it was just like the fuel cut but no cel. I am now running 3 lbs lower of boost at 13 and it was at 16lbs I had the power loss. I hit fuel cut once or twice and it was at 17lbs spiked to 18lbs when I hit fuel cut

As far as the gasket it seemed to be more in the way than the flange on the dp. Infact the gasket sticks out more than the flange. Do you think its non oem and its causing me problem? Cause the flapper seemed like it would hit the gasket not the flange when I looked at it |

if the gasket came with the downpipe its not oem.
go buy a new oem gasket from the dealer. youll see the difference in quality and shape right away. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned
