so, bear with me here on this one, i own a 5th gen, not a 6th, i have two, a st, and a alltrac, the alltrac i plan i trying to keep body wise, stock as possible, but the st, i have major plans for that one, i have noticed that this site seems to have a few people who ahve done a curren front end swap, playr being one of them, and i must say it looks gorgeous, but i am wanting to do this same swap to my 91 st, since i dont really like the flip ups, so if anyone can help me in telling me what im about to get my self into, that would be great

I don't know much about it myself but I would talk to DiP203 He has done one and has a curren setup for sale.

Well since the only difference between us 6th gens and the Curren is the radiator support and body panels, all we need to do is swap the rad support and bolt the panels on. You would have a lot more work to do. I can't speak of the details, as I don't think it has ever been done to a 5th gen. If you really want the curren front end then maybe you should step up to a 6th gen to do the conversion on. It'll probably cost you less in the long run.

well, it really wont be as easy as it would be if it was a 6th gen. not saying a curren swap on a 6th gen is easy but on a 5th gen is a whole nother thing. youd have ALOT of work on your hands and might be one of the only people with that done. If you got the money id say go for it. it might look pretty sick. you would want to buy a front clip. hopefully you can weld and do fab work.

there are people who have done flush mounted headlights. This may be cheaper than a full front end conversion. you'd probably have better luck on either celicatech or mr2oc for ideas.

search on cardomain there is 1 person with a 5th gen + curren..
On any body style its not a bolt on process. you have to remove part of your frame and weld in the curren replacement.

imo not so very nice. body shape isn't really there for it.
