Ok so this isn't the usual coilover question. I don't want a super low drop, but I want some versatility. The car is going to need a suspension makeover within the next year probably. I've been keeping my eye on some coilovers like the Megans, but have some questions. For street use I'd like to be able to have the car around stock ride height, maybe an inch or so lower for looks and maybe autoX use. BUT, how high can they go? And how forgiving would they be to light off-road, and high speed dirt/gravel like in a rallycross application?

Yeah, like I said wasn't sure what was out there. Plus just wanted to stir the pot a bit, every other suspension related question is "I want my car to be so low it drags the ground" so I wanted to see what came up.

i would choose it for one or the other. a coilover setup for offroad wont be good to use for auto-x.
offroad setups are usually higher than stock. and the front is raised a bit higher too if you are going off some bumps.

^^true and coilovers made specifically for off-road probably have to be rebuilt more often then any coilover for autocross, due to the increase in suspension travel/wear/etc... not to mention, they usually cost a pretty penny.

anyone know about the K-Sport Gravel coilovers??? biggrin.gif i would like to kno (sorry dont mean to thread jack)
