thinking about installing a 7th gen short shifter in my 96, just wanted to make sure everything is the same with the shifter and exsctly how hard it is and i really wanna hear from someone who did this, btw im new to all this my previous car i drove for 3 years i did nothing to so im just wondering how hard this would be?

very easy just remember how you removed it take pics. one thing for sure you have to remember is the springs you have to put back. Looks more intimidating than difficult. 7th gen shifter will work plus its the cheapest way.

dude its cheap, easy and is totally worth it. it'll make your car FEEL like a race car.

do what that guy said ^ take pics after EVERY step, that way you cant forget how to put it back together. smile.gif

haha yup! i bid $1.00. and won. with 25 dollar shipping total cost was $26 dollars. i won it around 11am. had it in my hands the NEXT day at 2:00 pm.
