Who's interested? This guy right here is.

The guys with coupes- there's a TRD wing for coupes on Ebay right now. Just a heads-up.

Thanks for the feedback people.
Unfortunately we dont have the US Coupe in the UK so we cant model off what we dont have.
We test fit everything we make to ensure the best outcome. Also I dont believe there was a genuine TRD spoiler made for the coupe? So it'll be difficult to fabricate a coupe that fits perfectly.

It does. Just to clear any confusion, here is the TRD coupe wing I was referring to. Maybe somebody could buy it, have it shipped to yellowchinaman so he could get that duplicated, and then he could ship it back to whoever bought it? Just a thought. Anyway, I'm definitely in for one of these. Props for great work!

What is your website? I have tried 3 different possibilities with no luck. I am interested in learning more about this spoiler. How is the spoiler attached to the car? Are the screws drilled into metal threads placed inside the spoiler, or are they drilled into fiberglass? What is the spoiler made of? How much shipped to US? Is this an exact replica, or are there slight variations from the original TRD spoiler? Thank you.

Thanks. Looking at the ebay link, it says Curren ans ST205??? THe pics I'm showing are ST205.
Also I think the pictures on the ebay link looks the same as the pics I'm showing? Could it be the same? I dont know for sure but if the coups do want it, if someone sends me it, I can have it made for you guys.

www.rt-performance.com
We only sell a few of our lines on our website as we promote more in forums.
The spoiler is bolted onto the trunk lid using the same bolts as the raiser blocks.
The spoiler is also bolted together and each piece has a sunken threaded bolt embedded within so it's not bolted into fibreglass.

The blade and end covers are made of 2x2 black real carbon. Not laminated vinyl.
The legs are made of fibreglass.

The shape is exactly the same as a genuine TRD spoiler. It is not taller.
We started looking into this project 4 months ago and discovered a few problems whilst replicating from a genuine TRD spoiler in which we had to overcome which was why we took so long.

We first started making an exact copy off a genuine TRD spoiler but then discovered that the adjusting componants was far too difficult to copy and would bump up production cost.
We then adopted the idea of having a 3 way plate being made from a replica spoiler which was much simpler.
Then it was a matter of making a replica of the genuine TRD spoiler with the replica fixtures.

The other problem was getting a good fabricator to make the carbon.
AS many fabricators will say they'll garantee a good qualit, we've learned this is not true.
After having 4 fabricators making an attempt and having spending alot of money in development, we finally had a winner.
To reduce cost, we're having the carbon being made from abroad, and the fibreglass stands made locally.
Working closely together, the combination was a success and I'm sure the pictures speak for it self.

Note:
The current situation is, that we're waiting for a batch of carbon blades and end caps to arrive to the UK and the stands are being made locally.
Untill we have the goods from both parties all paid for and ready to be sent, I cannot confirm the finaal price nor shipping cost.

However what I do ask is for people to let me know if they are interested in either:

-Just the carbon blade and end caps. (compatable with genuine and replicas)
-The above plus fibreglass legs making a complete set.

And what I'll do is announce the prices when everything is ready.

ps: I had alot of PM's regarding this and I'm pretty sure I've replied to you all. If you have not heard form me then I apologise. Just message me again. Ray

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...e=STRK:MEWAX:IT

this is the coupe wing, as richee posted, i have been trying to bring his price down, but i would like if you can get this to make it for the coupe, also some rear splitters would be awesome, you would have lots of buyers, as there are not parts for the coupw.

these can be tested on a convertible

Great to see an update. Just to clarify, this wing dimensionally is identical to an authentic TRD wing correct? All measurements, lengths and curves are the same?

If so, then count me in for a complete spoiler.

You'll be surprised. There aren't that many in the celica club UK and yes you do see somd drive by once in a while but usually they're owned by the older more mature owners who dont usually mod.

Also rear splitters? You mean rear spats? The rear of the vert bumper is the same as all the other 6celica's arent they?
We're making rear spats and that should fit.

yes. The only difference is whats under the end caps as we've adopted the fixing methods off a replica.

The convertible is actually a few inches longer than the hatch in the rear, so any rear splitters, spats, or lips from a hatchback will not fit onto a coupe/convertible/curren.
