hi guys i was looking for a project thread section or and intro section but found neither so posting in here, if ive still got the wrong section please feel free to move it. biggrin.gif

heres the JSP GT4 1/4 Mile Tuner Project so far.

We received the car in almost standard trim with a few small modifications.
The bodywork needed attention as did a few other areas but the engine was strong.

Standard Engine Bay

As you can see from the picture the engine was pretty standard with the exception
of the hks intake and filter.

After a little bit of work and servicing the engine now looks a little bit more interesting.

Current Engine Bay

Current Specification list:-

BodyWork / Exterior

Modified C-One Front Bumper
Eurou Aero Kit SideSkirts
Rays Volks TE37 Alloys In Custom Bronze
JSP Headlight Air Intake Vent

Interior

Momo Steering Wheel
AutoMeter Boost Gauge
Custom Gauge Mount
HKS Turbo Timer

Suspension / Chassis / Brakes

BC Coilovers
EBC Grooved and Drilled Disks
EBC Yellow Stuff Pads
20mm rear spacers
JSP Battery Relocation Kit
WhiteLine Adjustable Rear ARB
JSP Poly Front ARB Bushes
Superflex Trailing Arm Bushes

Engine

Blitz NUR Spec R Exhaust System
JSP Prototype 2.5" Downpipe/De-Cat
HKS SSQV Blow Off Valve
JSP Ventilation Relocation Kit (VR KIT)
JSP 4" Straight Air Intake Kit
JSP Carbon / Aluminium Air Box
JSP Manual Boost Controller
JSP Gear Linkage Bush Kit
JSP Vacuum Distribution Manifold (VDM)
JSP Aluminium Heat Shield

Performance Stats

275bhp & 276lb/ft torque @ 1bar
13.03 1/4 mile time

Plenty more to come on the car, our aim is to build a torque Designed 1/4 mile car.

Many Thanks Jamie

I agree with doggy, the rear needs rear splitters...and maybe the GT-4 wing with supports will look fine...

it will be getting lower spats

but it wont ever have a boot spoiler, the car being a 1/4 mile car, the drag from the gt-4 spoiler just cause unwanted and un-needed drag.

hey gord, yeah i get about lol

eh the te-37s not much to say to be honest, they are rays volks te-37s where on the car when we got it, in badly chipped white, we liked the wheels and the 16" size was ideal for the 1/4 mile to keep acceleration at its best, so we refurbed them in bronze.

the 4" SAI is our creation as is the air box that houses it, and again so is the headlight vent.

only the SAI is currently available as we have not yet put the others into production.
