From what i gather from reading the boards every now and then there are quite a few people from florida. Considering I still haven't sold my 94 st auto and just bought my 96gt manual a couple months ago, my car is nowhere near ready for a meet. I'll be ready in the summer.

I'm down for a good meet. Starting a new(better paying) job in the next couple weeks, so a spring/summer meet would be awesome(it would take that long to get organized, not to mention I should be done with almost everything but the motor swap by then). I'm willing to drive anywhere that I can make it in less than 16 hours or so(as in not having to stop and sleep anywhere).

And Miami sounds great. My grandparents and one of my aunts live just north of there. Not to mention that a nice Keys run would be sweet.

A midwest meet would be cool too(St Louis, Kansas City...). I have friends in KC that I haven't seen in a while.

Well I can tell you this now. There will be another meet this summer in Pegion Forge. Considering the turn out of the last one, it should be a good one this time. Plus I know that there should be a guy from Jacksonville driving up for it this time. But check back later for more info. Also as long as its not to far away I might be interested in going to one.

I would love an entire 6gc.net meet!! But like i have read in more than a couple of forums, people always rank out, There are like 2+ pages of people saying "YEAH I'll go!!" but then the week of the meet its, sorry this sorry that. Or just won't show up. I don't mean to sound like a jerk or prick but its true. It has happened. But i am always down, as long as i know ahead of time so that i can ask for the day off.

I say somewhere really pretty where we can get a lot of good publicity or view from other enthusiasts. Somewhere like Chicago would be really badass because we could go through the city then down the waterways.. would be very cool, get some NICE pictures from that. I'm in Dallas, and while there's a lot of wideopen nothingness out here where we could get together, there's nowhere where we could actually drive and get good looking pictures from out here. Chicago would be somewhat ideal, because it's a more central city in the country, and it looks good.. double whammy.. lol..

new york might be a little to packed and strict.....never been to chicago so cant say.....Miami is awesome we can have a nice ass drive to south beach...great scenery and straigh strip for pictures i know exact spot....and plus we can all chill in beach and hang out picnic etc...

I think Atlanta, Georgia is a good location for a meet in the East. I am from North Carolina, but the drive to Atlanta is pretty much centralize for most people.

I think Philadelphia would be great for a Northeastern meet cuz its kinda in the middle. I know there are people from all over PA, NY, & NJ so it's not too far away from any of them.

i was going to start a poll for the northeast meet.. but i dont think alot of cars will show up.. from the looks of it i think maybe four or five of us will show... so i think that who ever is in the northeast should just meet up at the next Englishtown event. in NJ... i believe the next event is Sunday November 16, 2003... i think the last pigeon forge meet was great! alot of 6gc's and some 5ths and 1 7th, i think b4 capn crakhead left, we had 13 cars! We even got ran off from our orginal meeting place!!

but, pigeon forge is a great central local for lower VA, western NC SC and upper GA. But also an easy drive from WV and KY! But its a great place!!
I think we should try to get it all together about the same time an autocross is goin on again!~~!!!!!

Yeah, the PF meet was great. Next time I'll be down there Fri night instead of waiting till Saturday morning to head out.

Also, the t-shirts were great. Where I work now we can print logos on all sorts of stuff(sunglass visor clips, pocket knives, golf balls, mugs, towels, pens...), so if anyone wants anything like that, the prices are reasonable(I don't make any commision or anything, and I hate the job, but if anyone wants anything with their logo on it, go to goldbondinc.com).
