i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

I was looking at a 06 S4 with about 30k miles for about the same price. I know I would have enjoyed that car but this will be more reliable, better in the winter, and will lead to less tickets! wink.gif

I would have thought by 2010 the Tacoma would have had a face lift of some sort.

After 5 years you'd expect SOMETHING to keep it fresh.

This is actually the sixth year of this body style. It took almost that long to grow on me. I liked the looks of the previous generation a lot better. But the interior, drivetrain, and amenities are so much better on the newer models the trucks are not even really comparable.

I love these Toyota trucks in general, makes everyone around you envious. How much did you end up paying for it. Our '010 tundra was 32K, 4x4, 5.7L FlexFuel DoubleCab. It drives like a beast.

I got it for under invoice with a little research. About 27k + tax + title.

I opted for the SR5 4x4 package with all the power options and alloy wheels. I saved about 2-3k over the sport or off-road packages. The truck will see 99% street use so I really didn't want stiffer springs. (and I don't really care for the hood scoop on a truck wink.gif)

One of my friends has a new Tundra. All I'm saying is Toyota makes some B.A. trucks. Especially that 5.7 liter. The other day I was driving my dad's '97 GMC Sierra and I sent a text to one of my friends, saying it's a shame that Chevy killed their 350 Vortec motor.. He replied and informed me that Toyota bought the rights to make that motor, and that it's no coincidence that my dad's truck is a 5.7 liter, the same size that is going in the new Tundra's. +1 for Toyota. Looks like you got a good deal! Regardless of how the Tacoma had to grow on everyone else, I've always kinda liked it.
