so here is the story of my 95 vert in pictures.....

the day i bought her...

Experimented a lil with the lights and fitted my first vanity plate....

my first mod... 17" adr wheels

then i lowered her 4" rear and 3.5" front...

then came the rear spoiler and air intake...

unfortunatly the next mod was not planned...

so i stripped her down to fit the after market parts...

put on the new 18" wheels and tyres...

then the GT4 hood, Curren tails and fiber glass fenders...

put on the bodykit and GT4 raiser blocks...

then off for paint...

and window tint...

painted the dash and install the hidden radar detector with dash warning...

and installed a short shifter...

installed the led fog lights and markers...

the brakes...

now lowered another 1" to 5" all around...

got myself a custom plate...

so i decided that i would continue with some body work starting with a custom spoiler, most won't like it but oh well its my car. next to blend the body kit and straighten the lines.

and here are a few pics at last weeks meet....

and there is this video of me doing the "blindfold parking challenge" at the meet...

click this link!

then i started the next stage of the body by widening the rear arches two inches and filling in the gap in the rear bumper and blending it.

and installed some modified Supra side skirts....

and some l.e.d. brake lights in the lower vents...

changed the spoiler out...

decided to change up the front end also...

Fitted new custom projector headlights...

and replaced the high beams,

more pics coming soon.....thanks for reading...

not sure the brand on the springs or the fogs as i bought them both off e-bay and the raiser blocks are just the factory gt-4 items, thanks for the possitive thoughts, i know its not everyones bag...

Damn, that must be some really bad springs for that cheap of a price. Got a couple questions though. How is the ride on that coilover set? If it rides decent, then you got a hell of a deal! Oh, and those springs say that they are for a 2000-2005 model Celica, and it fit with no problems on yours?

Thanks, Ryan

i'm running 225/40/18 tires on mine and the lowest point of the car is right at the front by the fog lights at 3" from the ground.

i bought a set for my 95 from the same guy but he did not have any listed right now so i found as close as i could to show, the ride is really not changed much with the exception of i really feel the bigger potholes or bumps due to a lot less travel, over all i am really happy with them and they are really inexpensive.

it doesn't even look like half the parts are even fitted properly. definitely not my style. but if you like it, thats all that should matter.

Am I the only one that dislike this ? Sure, the design is cool, but the finish and details is just awfull : (

-The blocks is all wrong and doesnt fit, its for the Eu mod.
-Frontbumper doesnt fit
-rearbumper doesnt fit
-headlights is miss placed
-hood doesn`t fit, too high in front middle
-licence plate part doesnt fit
And all those lights you have put on your frontbumper. . . shame, its a car! Not a disco room. Remember, less is more!

The car will look great in a distance, but when you come up close, all you want is cry. people with respect for details anyways.

Really wish you had put a few more weeks work in the car and done it right, then this would have been a really amazing car!

agree with you mostly, i had to rush the kit last year to try and get it done in time for a meet (well didn't have to i guess but you know how it is) and have been kicking myself about it, but have no fear its all about to change, have bought a lot of new stuff and starting tomorrow i'm about to start a complete body over haul. but i disagree about a few things you say, first i love my raiser blocks and when i finish making then sit flush i'll be happy so they are staying, and secondly i am keeping the foglights in the front splitter, i just love the way it looks. but i appreciate you opinion and ask you to keep looking cos big things are about to happen!

The main problem is the fiting of the styling kit, so you make me really happy when you say you gonna change it! : ) so I wont nag about the lights and other stuff. Everyone cant have the same taste you know : ) I know how it is, and gladly my styling kit didnt arrived before all meetings were done x) so then i had really good time to make the kit fit, and im glad it went that way. tongue.gif

Im looking forward too see how you car turns out ^^ Good luck and have fun! biggrin.gif

I think the poor fitment has a lot to do with when you crashed/ got hit. I think that tweaked the body enough to screw up your headlight, then coupled with a poor fitting eBay body kit it just adds to the poor fitment.

I like the direction you went with this, but I would invest in a real veilside kit if that's what you want. Its the small details that really count.

i think if you look at the last pics where i was at the Foty meet you will be happier, i removed the temp ambers by then and i think they are the ones that were too much. i have a new nose cone, fenders, sideskirts, mirrors, fender flairs ready to be installed and plan on refitting the rear bumper (with a lil personal twist) and finishing the spoiler starting this weekend, and i have nothing but time to make sure it goes right. One question though, what did you mean about the lic plate not fitting?

It's totally not my taste at all, but I have to give you tons of credit for not being afraid to put yourself out there and just go balls to the wall and do what YOU wanted, and be original in the process. It sounds like it's been a great learning experience for you and now you're about ready to start applying that experience to a new setup. Good for you!

I HATE that front bumper (again, just a matter of personal taste) but I think that LED fog thing is pretty cool and it TOTALLY works with that bumper!

i think if you look at the last pics where i was at the Foty meet you will be happier, i removed the temp ambers by then and i think they are the ones that were too much. i have a new nose cone, fenders, sideskirts, mirrors, fender flairs ready to be installed and plan on refitting the rear bumper (with a lil personal twist) and finishing the spoiler starting this weekend, and i have nothing but time to make sure it goes right. One question though, what did you mean about the lic plate not fitting?
[/quote]

I studied the pics and saw it was the rear bumber who make it look that way, so its nothing wrong with the lic plate fitting smile.gif
