I'll start it off. Pick your favorite ricer pictures from real life, or from the net and post them.
((Let's refrain from using member pics from site))

This thread is going to get closed down you know. We do not make fun of rides here, we got too much class for that. Perhaps you should take a look at the forum rules, and seeing how you are new, I can already guess you "didn't know this", however, you didn't know this because you don't see other threads like this, because it is not allowed.

Meh, not going to hurt my feelings if it is. Do it if you wish. Sorry we can't have fun. If this was a Celica bash fest I could understand. Last I checked no one here owned the car above.

hey stranger, i see where you are comming from, but i dont think its all that bad, considering people purposly weld coffee cans (literally) onto their car for attention and just to get a few laughs out of it...i see nothing wrong with the thread...after all, IT IS a class that most associate themselves with...i think that if someone started a post your favorite muscle car pics...there would be no problem with that

Well I have no authority to close a thread, but I am just giving note that it being closed is what can happen. I agree, it is funny to see silly things like that, but then where do we draw the line? Sooner or later one of us is going to catch a body kit that people have on here on their car and it is going to get thrown in this category, which is why we have to consider all that and just not keep such threads around.

I believe you are looking for this:
http://www.topgear.com/content/timetoburn/...age/pages/0532/

Ricer is a deragatory term, much like using forbidden words. Those who use that term on a regular basis only contribute to the problem. More importantly because most people are polite they won't say anything to stop you but will roll their eyes. In real life there is a special breed of people out there. The one that seeks people who are full of hate and kick their pride back to where it came from often through physical force.

Please be respectful of other people and do not violate forum rules.

Let me ask you. Which is sharper, the knife that is rarely used or the knife that is commonly used?

Do you understand my metaphor or do I have to elaborate more on it?

i think the invader kits are god awful ugly, ha sorry, dont mean to offend anyone but that **** does not flow with celi's body style at all. ive seen a few on convertibles and i swear i'd rather drive that black "ricer" with the red bumper then a celica with an invader kit. now thats my opinion so dont anybody start flipping out.

Haysoo..... I would like to make a snappy come back but frankly I am all out of lines. Too many times I have to explain to sarcastic teenagers that just because they can say something does not mean they should say it.

Aware that the car in the picture is very similar, if not racing against older "kouki" style celi's? Even though intended to be humorous, this thread belongs in a Honda forum laugh.gif

that's a "Boso" style cressida. the trend is slowly picking up here in Hawaii.........just like most of the jdm trends i.e. drifting, the license plate brackets, and what not. IMO i wouldn't mind doing a Boso Cressida in the future
