My buddy offered to sell me his 7th gen celica.

No rust, MR-S motor with low miles for $4500.

Should I buy it? I'm leaning towards it... lol.

Comes with everything plus all the stock parts. Donutes with winter tires. I have to drive this car in MN winter lol.

Gonna sell the motors I have laying around to get it.

Clean, I'd say go for it. 4500 is pretty cheap.

That is hell of cheap. I was looking for over a year for something like that but instead ended up with a 6th gen. That bodykit doesn't look bad either I usually hate them.

7GCs actually look good when done right...such as this. If you have the cash available, I'd pick it up.

The flushness of those wheels is perfect by the way...and I don't mind the kit either. 7GCs take well to kits though, since they already have a factory scoop, etc.

Still keeping the 6GC right?

MR-S spyder. 1ZZ is shared between a few cars. Corolla, Celica, and MR-S, but probably more.

My 99 gt was total feb 09 from an elder lady running a red light.

Been driving a eg hatch with 200,000k for a year now getting tired of it.

Currently driving a 97 honda accord with 250,000K.

Now just looking for something newer.

My buddy actually posted his car forsale on craigslist for awhile with a lot of tire kickers.

We are still talking about it now. When I told him I was ready to buy, he upped the price to $5000, or $4500 with my eg hatch.

That means my hatch is worth $500 lol.

KBB puts the car at $5000 for excellent with 109,000 on the body.

He just spent $1300 on the kit alone minus shipping, and paint. He spent $1000 on his zigens and yoko tires last year. $1800 on the mr-s motor 2 years ago.

you do know that the MR-S is just another name for the MR-2 and its the SAME 1ZZ-FED that came in the celica, right?

Yes I know.
