just got an alarm system installed tonight... originally just wanted keyless but figured for 40 bucks more why not... so yeah its a black widow bw4150 model...cheap i know. but anyways is there a way i cam make it not chrip when i arm the system- my lights also flash to let me know its armed... i hate the noise it makes! but yeah i figured sombody on here will know... ohh yeah and where do they typically mount the hardware to the system? i found the alarm unit- but where to they put the chips at? (went to best buy and had it done)... i noticed a small push button on the plastic piece on the floor by the footrest- this part of my alarm system? ive never noticed it before...haha sorry i know NOTHING about this stuff- any help would be great!

I also have a Black Widow System from best buy. I think it is the same model. If your keychain thing has 4 buttons then it is the same one I think. The way you make it not make the noise when you activate or deactivate it is by pressing the button that has the car with the trunk open (button 3). The lights blinks with no sound. I am not sure about the thing under the foot rest though.

yea the thing on the bottom by the floor is some kind of kill switch, look through the manual to read about it.
