Always liked remixed stuff. (specifically 2 random songs meshed together to sound good)

example.

Originals:
1: Miley Cyrus: Party in the USA
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M11SvDtPBhA
2: Biggie: Party and Bull****
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mHaTSxMuS6U

Remix:

Biggie smalls party in the usa remix by andrew hathway.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hn4xtJNQV2A

Beyonce Halo 2pac remix
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XtVCe4MX0MA

I think its pretty good. few parts don't completely flow but. i like it. who else has examples?

There are a LOT of good mixes in trance, but it's a very very common thing to remix songs.

One of my favorites (and favorite songs ever) would have to be DJ Tiësto's remix of Sarah McLachlan's "Silence."

Quality isn't that great, but this is the only video I could find of the exact version I like.

I had to watch the video, I read what you put and I was like "WTF?! I thought that was Delirum's song!" but I see he did his own remix.

im not a fan of trance. i mean its ok. but specificly what im talking about is when they take the lyrics of 1 song, and put it to the beat (instrumentals) to the other song. or split the song 50/50. like the examples i gave and another example is the JayZ, Linkin Park colaboration cd Collision Course

I think the correct term for what you are describing is a "mashup".

I forget who did it, but someone redid this kind of hip-hop version of Johnny Cash's Ring of Fire. Freakin' excellent.
