Who's knows how to paint a dash board? What kind of paint do you use? Do you clear it when you're done? What's the procedure?

I finally found some info on this. This best thing to use is a vinyl dye. Certain paint stores can actually fix the paint for you. Some can put it in a spray paint can for you. If not you'll have to use a spray gun. The vinyl dye permanently changes the color of the vinyl. They also make a spray paint for vinyl. When using this start out with 2 very light coats, so you can still see the original vinyl color, then apply a couple more coats a little heavier. Let dry. Finish up with 3 coats of clear coats. Let sit for at least 12 hours. Sand lightly with 500 grit sand paper if needed.
