I bought fog lights and a control switch from him about feb 21, well i received the control switch but never got the fog lights. Weeks later he tells me that he sent them to the wrong person. Now its almost 2 months later, he says they lost them and i asked for my 90 dollars back, and once again he disappeared his phone is "turned off" so if you know him tell him he needs to send me that money back asap or figure out whats going on because this is pathetic. he lives in holiday, florida.

Wow Zack, you've had the worse luck trying to get these things. I dunno, if it was me shipping it off, I woulda sent it all in one package (just cheaper that way). Sounds like he never had them in the first place. And its been two months? Here is what i had to do (because I had an incident with some struts/springs), contact paypal, file a claim, then swing by IC3 and file a complaint there. That was the route I went and it took a bit but I did get my money back, because the IC3 put everything together and handed it over to the DA over here to handle.
I looked at the guys profile and you are not the only one who has an issue with him, so hopefully you and the other guy get this worked out.

You shouldn't have sent it as a gift. You really don't have a leg to stand on, because to Paypal it just looks like you sent him money, not an exchange for "goods or services" which you could then argue that you didn't receive.


Hope you learned a valuable lesson. Don't deal with anyone until you do some research. Use caution when buying from new members, or members without positive feedback.

I also wanted to add that those of you who he has scammed I urge you to call the local Police Department in New Port Richey and tell them. Some guy was scamming over on NASIOC and because of the victims calling a local detective he was arrested and charged with a dozen or so felonies.

A few months ago, I was scammed (along with several other members here) by a member named "STiKindaGuy".
I was taken for an STi steering wheel, other members were taken for wheels, a turbo, and many other items which we all paid for an never received.

I took it upon myself to go after this guy and started doing some research.
I found out which chapter he frequented (This One), posted up a notice on this forum and within a few hours got a reply which pointed me in the right direction for who this guy really was.

Armed with that information, I started sending PM's to all the other members I could find who replied to the for sale threads this scammer (StiKindaGuy) had posted, and I asked those members for some personal information which I then forwarded to a detective in this guys home town.

That detective and I worked together over the next several weeks putting together as much information as we could gather, and today I am happy to report that I received the following email from Detective Sean Lundry up in Oregon:

[B][B]"I wanted to let you know that I have arrested and charged Chance Graham in relation to this case. He was charged with two counts ID Theft, one count of Theft 1, and Computer Crime. All of these are felonies in Oregon. He will most likely be going to prison for a period of time based on his past criminal convictions. He was using Riggs name without his knowledge. If you want to pass this on to the other victims in this case, by all means do so. If you have any questions feel free to call or e-mail. Thanks for your assistance"

I suggest compiling information from the people he ripped off under "projectinprogress" and this name, including purchase details, names and numbers, and contacting his local PD and let them pay him a visit. Its time we stopped giving him the benefit of the doubt. Any decent person would not be giving out their paypal info to anybody - friend or not.

Why wait? It is clear to me that this guy is just scamming. The quicker you act the better chance you have of getting your money back, and getting this guy to stop scamming people for good. The more time you give him the more he can clean up his act....

Yeah, call the number and ask for a detective. Explain to them the situation, and how he has done this multiple times on multiple forums. Give him your information, as well as the names and any other info you can get from others that he has scammed here. That should be enough for them to get a warrant and go arrest him.

Yes, provided that New Port Richey is the city he actually lives in. I know he has given a bunch of different locations for where he lives including Tarpon Springs, FL, Holiday, FL, I think Hudson, FL as well. All of these locations are fairly close to each other with about 5-10 miles in between them, and to be honest I don't know if each area has their own PD or what. If anyone has his real address that would help with which PD to deal with.

Yeah, call the number and ask for a detective. Explain to them the situation, and how he has done this multiple times on multiple forums. Collect ALL possible related information you can find, paypal receipts from emails, all forum thread links (even non 6gc if it relates to the same guy), PM's, emails, text messages, etc.

Contact others who have been scammed and get them to forward PM's to you (or make them aware of who to call and give their info forth if it is safer that way with other peoples info... i guess) so you can compile a nice file for them and be ready to email/fax/snail mail etc all these documents to them. I would think you would need some pretty solid evidence for them to take you seriously and to actually pursue this, so gather as much stuff as you possibly can to make a strong case against this *insertwordofchoicehere*.

... Then call.

I had thought so too but never heard for sure.

I had to disput a payment to twolownissan for not sending parts I payed for. The name on the paypal account was Saprina Jenkins but the email was twolownissan2002@hotmail.com. I got my money back through paypal after diputing it.

What's strange to me is that he didn't really give me much in the way of a story. Sounds like everyone else got lies about him being sick, or computer went down, or someone got to his paypal account. Zach, call up the PD and tell them you have a serious case. It's not like you don't have evidence, there is. Ask them to have a detective call this guy up or even visit the address.

Can't screen capture on my cell phone, but basically its a couple threads on a UK based EF honda site where he has been buying stuff, and another thread where he purchased an auto to 5sp conversion and is having all sorts of problems - turns out he blew a HG, and consequently will be using his scammer cash to fix it.

I'll take screenshots when I'm home for lunch.

i got an email back from a detective in florida about james williams. he said :

Hello Zachary,

I am a Detective with the City of New Port Richey. I received a copy of your email below. It appears you will need to contact either the Tarpon Springs Police or the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office. I attempted to look up Williams’ driver’s license to obtain an address. There are several “James Williams” and none of them have an address within the City of New Port Richey . If there is anything else I can do for you let me know.

James D Williams - also goes by Jim Williams

He apparently runs a "business" out of his home on Lori Ln in New Port Richey, and has a business listed under both James and Jim - both businesses have slightly different names, and are registered to That Lori Ln address.

well i just sent him all that and said i have pages of people who have been scammed, i have stories of his lies and what not and i dont want him getting away with stealing any more money from people. i cant believe he hasnt got his @$$ beaten yet for this crap

Yes the return address is a police email. Lori Lane is also in the county jurisdiction. You will need to contact the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office.


that is what the detective told me so i assume i'll call pasco county sheriff tomorrow
