I'm able to pinpoint the leaks on my car to the power steering. After changing my leaking distributor and switching to Royal Purple that is.
what are the areas of leakage that I need to change, I will change most or all if I need to. Celica power steering system is a lil bit different that the ones I've seen, its alot more hoses.

why does this ebay item only look like a piece of the bottom hose wheres the rest?

I would figure for common leakage it might be the seals or o rings on the ps pump its self that go bad. As far as the ebay thing goes...Dont know where the other hose is. The IPB only lists it as a tube assembly, pressure feed. Being that assembly should be both hoses and associated hardware. It appears that ebay has only the tube running from the pump to the control valve housing (part of the power steering gear...which by the way looks like alot of fun to disassemble). My suggestion is to clean everything up and drive for a bit then crawl under and try to pinpoint where it is leaking.

yea, normally, its the highest pressure hose that goes before the pump. The parts catalog does not list which is the high pressure hose. Its hard to tell because when I clean it up, and then drive, everything just looks all messy.

clean it, then just run the car and have a friend turn the wheel back and forth. you should be able to see the leak.

True, theres just many hoses to look at, I was down under there for a while trying to distinguish whats what, I will start replacing the hoses with the cheap stuff instead of OEM hoses, they are expensive.

the high pressure line is the one at the bottom of the diagram.
has it ever been removed?
if it has, was the banjo bolt crush washer replaced? if not, thats where to start.

its possible it has been removed as there has been a lot of things touched since I bought it used and it was leaking since I got it used. I changed the valve cover cus with our engines tilting back it looks like it is coming from there but it wasn't it. So I discovered the distributor was leaking, changed that, and the oil on the floor became less almost invisible. I just doublechecked my power steering again, the fluid is semi low so I would prolly put my money on it now. Any other ideas are greatly appreciated.

BTW, thanks Manny, that is indeed a good idea, its just like the fuel hose. In fact I need to change the high pressure hose on my friends integra too which looks much simpler.

44327a is the washer you need to change. thats ussually the hose that gives the leak. try to inspect one hose at a time.
