Just figured I would share my pain with all of you. Dropping an engine to change a POS clutch is not a fun or cheap thing to do...

yup, the way they make those relief cuts for the spring i guess makes them wear out for whatever reason, looks pretty much like jeffs spec disk looked when we pulled it last time he was up, and my old ACT street disk did the same.
although, in my case, i got 4 years, 50K+ out of mine. and i was WAY over the TQ rating for 3 years..lol

yea, the backside of my comp. clutch that i got from tweek have the same design as the spec/act. but the frontside was diffrent, MUCH beefier.
the ACT 6 puck disk that jim got was also beefier.

brand new, less than 1000 miles... sadly i bought it two years before i was driving my swap so they wouldn't warranty it

It was probably in the 3k to 5k range when it blew up. It was in the car when I bought it last year, so it's hard to tell.
