how do you know the 5S flywheel will not work with a 3S clutch? im 99% sure the fidanza flywheel is the same one for both cars. the holes are just elongated to fit both cranks.

wondering if the fidanza would bolt to the beams? mmmmm

Thanks Presure!
That's odd because ATS Racing told me that the 5S flywheel doesn't bolt up to the 3S pressure plate... ???
I'm going to call and order their intake manifold now and ask them and see what they say again about it.
If it does bolt up to the 5S flywheel, then that would mean it works on the Beams..

edit: They said that I have to have a 5S clutch disc to make the 5S flywheel work frown.gif

its not the flywheel. the issue is you need a center hub on the disk to match the splines of the transmission input shaft. so yuo can use the fidanza on the 3S crank, use teh 3S pressure plate and use a 5S disk...if you are using the stock 5S tranny

No, e153.
I'm waiting for my 2.3L ATS 5SGTE stroker block, which further complicates the issue w/ the crank...

I have a full 3S clutch kit. I don't want to go back and have to drop more money and a 3S clutch disc with a 5S spline.

I just read a discussion about this on MR2OC about a month ago and it was confirmed by at least 5 people that it didn't work...
