Just came to a price on it and that was it deal was done in 2 minutes and its local. Its in great shape an I cant wait to get working on it. It needs a new axel and has a small coolant leak. Bodys in perfect condition. Here is the pics

168,xxx original engine and turbo. Plan to swap a 3rd gen in the future. Its been well maintained and the timing belt an water pump was changed at 100,000 miles

I know at 1800 it was doable no matter what I had to do to get extra money. I found the car yesterday by accident and am buying the next. It just fell into my lap. Made my day for sure

on ebay but he wanted to sell local which was great saved me shipping and I got to see the car in person. He wanted $2000-$2500 but I offered $1800 and he took it. The engine bay is cramped I am use the the engine but its gonna be a task working on stuff

So after reading some info on mr2oc.com I am pretty sure my coolant leak is a hose they call the hose from hell an is a common issue on mr2's and 3sgte's. Its the small 5 inch coolant line for the oil cooler by the oil filter. All the symtoms are the same as the many post I have read. It would be a snap on my celica's 3sgte pull the turbo and manifold and unhook the oil cooler and thats it. Basically the same on a mr2 but will take me double maybe triple the time. The turbo works but has alot of miles so I am thinking If I have to take the parts off for the hose to be fixed I will just put a ct20 and new down pipe/exhaust on at the same time.

Otherwise i just go around making people laugh so hard that cheese burger flys outta their noses. (ask STEVEN_LEE) Seriously, like, the cheese was still on the meat with some ketchup and everying. then some ants came and ate it. it was gross.

Thanks all!! Its just sinking in its mine. It rained all day and I wanted to pull the turbo or start to anyway.What sucks is I am not sure what to do with my celica. It has a blown head gasket. But I sold many parts because I thought I was getting a 3rd gen but that did not work out.
So know I am stuck with a broke celica and not enough mony to go around for both cars. I am missing a ecu,manifold,map sensor,turbo,alternator tensioner and water neck. If I could get these things I could just change the head gasket and be good. The motor was strong. Gues I will make a thread looking for these parts and see how it goes. I have a feeling it will be hard to find the water neck and tensioner. |

find a junkyard nearby with a Camry in it and take everything you possibly can.

Without the rims I would let it go cheap.Say $800 as is withh all the new parts I have not installed. I have a full front end ball jointstie rods ect ect new kyb struts all the way around and owering springs still in box.

Have not been on in a while and I miss my celica for sure. Thought I would ad some pics of the progress on my mr2.
Added rims, 3rd gen from Jim,trunk mount intercooler, wather/meth injection,intake,blitz bov, and ems exhaust. Is lowered on koni and trd springs.     |
