i am such a newbie on suspensions. i've decided to get tenzo lowering springs. my shocks are ok. they're at 195k. i really need to upgrade if i'm going to lower my car. better safe than sorry...and i dont have time anymore to mess around because of work and school. now would these work well with the tenzos? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/KYB-Gas-Sho...sQ5fAccessories

thanks.

They will do the job, not the cheapest shock but also not the most expensive. Can't believe how cheap you Americans get them I paid $650 for the same set!

What's important is that GR-2 struts (or shock inserts, if you prefer those) are basically an OEM replacement. Other brands like Monroe make performance variants. So your ride preference and lowering amount will be factors in deciding on struts. GR-2 struts are guaranteed up to 1.5".

Not all companies will offer any kind of warranty on lowered vehicles. Ive heard of some people having no problem, and Ive heard of others who did have a problem. Currently Im on KYB GR-2's and Tein S Tech, have no complaints as the struts have held up so far, and the ride isnt that bad (save for the once in a while killer pothole at night)
