It's me Chris again. I'm from Hong Kong and I think some of you know who am I already. As I received many enquiries about wing and splitters for Coupe. Now I want to arrange a group buy for coupe users. But before arrange the group buy, I want to know how many people will join this group buy. I will find the original parts and send it to a factory to make the replica of it.
I will try to find the following original parts.
1. TRD Wing (For coupe)
2. Hiro Curren Wing
3. Hiro Curren rear splitters
4. Toyota Optional Rear Extensions
Interested person please leave a massage and tell me what item(s) they want to order and also tell me your expected price. After gethering of the information. I can deal with the factory and try get the best prices for all of you. I think the above parts are the most popular parts. If any of you have any idea about that, please let me know.

Toyota Optional Rear Extensions

Curren(coupe) is only sold in Japan and the States. And actually I'm negotiating with one of my customers in Japan now. I quite sure he can get the original TRD wing and HIRO Splitters for me. He will try to find the Toyota optional rear extensions for me too. But I think it's quite difficult as Toyota had stopped the manufacturing of it.

I will only import either TRD wing or HIRO wing. And I will import both splitters if I can. So please state clear what's the preference of you all.

I think the factory of making the replica is no problem as I had sold the splitters for hatch to some of the members already and none of them have complant about the splitters. .....their main business is making replica of bodykit

The prices of them depends on the quantities of you all will order. The more quantities in the group buy, the lower the price. That's all the information I can provide at this moment.

I would be in for the TRD wing. Cost-wise, odviously cheaper is better, but I would be willing to shell out 400 or so for a replica.

Personally, I'd much rather have the rear extensions on this car than the Hiro ones. I think they look a lot better, partly because they go lower. smile.gif Another pic of them is below.

By the way, I'm very interested in a good replica of the TRD wing and these extensions for the rear bumper.

I'd talk to Pete just to be sure, but I think that they're the Toyota optional extensions for the Curren, which are very similar to Toyota's optional extensions for the SS-III Celica. smile.gif

yup. dealer option on the 96+ Currens. I personally like the Hiro extensions better, but if I were to get those I'd want the Hiro wing. just something to think about.

I'd be interested in either rear extension, whatever is the cheapest. I'd really like something for the front end though. A 94-95 front looks kinda strange with side skirts...

EDIT: I like the hiro splitters more*

The estimate price and information of the TRD Wing for Coupe:

USD470 (by air)
USD435 (by surface)

1. Delivery time: within 3 weeks by air(Usually takes 2 weeks) , 5-8 weeks by surface.
2. Delivery only within US. Please send me an e-mail for other countries prices.
3. Shipping and tax are included in the above prices.
4. The wing can be sent to buyer given address directly.

I can offer the above prices if 10-15 people join the group buy. The prices maybe lower if more than 15 buyers. Interested parties please send an e-mail to sales@hediko.com as I need to confirm how many people will join the group buy.

*The group buy will go when there are more than 10 buyers.

I'm in for a group buy on a kit. Would hope to get prices below $400 though. $300 would be nice, I'd buy one right now =) How would I get the Toyota OEM rear extensions?? I have rock chips on the area under my bumper and these would cover that up!! Also want some side skirts for the same reason. biggrin.gif

wow, the wing is kinda pricey for a replica.

It would be nice to get splitters along with that price.

I probably will be in if there is a need for an extra buyer.

The price of USD650 is the bumper but not the wing. The wing price should be USD740 in the that web-site. And sales tax & delivery are not included. (I studied Japanese in university)

USD435 for a replica maybe a bit expensive.... But I need to buy the original TRD wing to make the mold for the replica. The original one cost me near USD1000. Hope you all can understand.

I promise that if more than 15 people in the group buy, the price will be lower(estimate under USD400).

chrisc, I really appreciate what your doing for us, but your mistaken on this one. I lived in Japan for half my life, and that page clearly says the TRD wing for ST206 (without paint) goes for 81000 yen which converts to 647.43 USD. Besides, I was just stating it as a possible source for you to acquire the wing at a lower price, thereby passing the savings on to us.

If its possible, try to give us a package deal so that the TRD Wing seems kind of expensive but with the splitters as a package the price will seem more reasonable.

heh...you probably would lose this group buy if someone gets a hold of a cheaper trd wing that is already a replica and sells it to us as a group buy for cheap.

QUOTE (chrisc @ Dec 6, 2003 - 2:32 AM)
Dear all, I've got the price of the TRD Wing and HIRO splitters.

TRD Wing: USD410 (Air) USD375 (Surface) - total 15 buyers needed
HIRO Splitters: USD190 (Air) USD185 (Surface) - total 10-15 buyers needed
Package of TRD Wing+Hiro Splitters: USD585 (Air) USD540 (Surface)
OEM Extensions: still waiting the reply from Japan & China factory.

Dear all

I think I cannot get the oem extensions in the near future. This is because the extensions must come with the side skirts and the price is much more higher than the TRD Wing. So I think I'll make the group buy of TRD Wing & HIRO splitters.

I think the prices are very reasonable right now. But the factory can lower the cost again if I order both 20 wings and 20 splitters from them. If interested parties please send an e-mail to me at sales@hediko.com. I hope we can get 20 buyers in both field then we can get futher discount. Hope this group buy can be closed by 12/12 as I needed to confirm to get the original wing and splitters soon. So please help to spread out this massage to other members and friends asap. Futher information will be informed through e-mail.

Hey the package deal is pretty good. Its still kind of pricey but reasonable.

I hope we can get 20 buyers, crossing fingers.

I would really try to get the spoiler price a little lower.

Those prices do seem good to me, as long as the replica TRD wing is high quality and fits well without modification.

Unfortunately, I need to save all of my money to take my car to a different shop to get the car finished, so I can't get in on any of this stuff right now. frown.gif

Dear all, I will close this group buy by the beginning of Jan. And sure I will collect the money on next month, hope most of you are solvent at that time. But I need the estimate number of buyers right now. Now I need 15 buyers in both TRD wing & HIRO splitters. I will try my best to lower the cost of the factory. But now the prices are as follows:

TRD Wing: USD410 (Air) USD375 (Surface)
HIRO Splitters: USD190 (Air) USD185 (Surface)
Package of TRD Wing+Hiro Splitters: USD585 (Air) USD540 (Surface)

Confirmed buyers: (12/7 updated)
TRD Wing:
1. rlan214 (package deal)

HIRO Splitters:
1. Jabberwock
2. rlan214 (package deal)
