what did you guys use to temporarily cover up the holes? i'm thinking about going spoilerless but i don't wanna permanently delete the holes in case i change my mind down the road. something that'll keep the water out, but nothing tacky like tape.

I picked up some rubber plugs from autzone, they worked like a charm, perfect size and all, I added some clear silicone at the bottom of them to ensure they won't fly away, but they even look OEM'ish

I also didn't want to delete the holes as I like the raiser blocks / spoiler combo so now I have the option and can go back and forth.

Do you plan on putting the spoiler back on? Why not weld it?

yeah, i'm going for the spoilerless/duckbill look. but if my car gets quick, i might want something more aggressive like a trd spoiler. i'll most likely sell my stock 2-post if anyone is interested.

spoilerless is the way to go. the plugs get annoying after a while.
i plan on filling them and repainting the trunk

i just used some black vinyl stickers that i got from a decal shop, cut out circles a little larger than the holes, and they've been on for just under a year. good seal so water doesn't get in and its flat with the hatch unlike the plugs.
