Hello all, im fairly new here so i wanted to break the ice with a little build thread. I have high hopes and big plans for this car, but like everything in life it takes time and lots of money. I didnt take many pictures of the car the day i bought it.. which is a shame.. i always do, dont know why i didnt this time. But either way i havnt done much yet. Ive had it for a week and a half barely! Anyways enough blah blah.. here are some pics!

First things first.. as is with all my cars! YELLOW FOG LIGHTS!!! You cant be JDM without 'em!

Then of course.. 6000K HIDS.. Fogs and HIDs two things no car should be without!

Next was the spoiler... theres something about the 3 post OEM spoiler just doesnt sit right with me!
So out it goes and on goes the GT-FOUR blocks and spoiler! Awsome! I Love it! You'll also notice the blacked out letters and TRD License plate cover!

Before:

After:

Next we took off the wheels to take a look at the suspension and brakes and what not. Those plain old calipers weren't
going to cut it at all! So i threw a little lipstick on this pig! Viola!

And now for a little heart surgery.. cosmetic surgery that is!

This following mod, was in no way, shape or form intended for any illegal purpose what-so-ever! I just really love the way it looks! not to mention the aerodynamics! tongue.gif Angled License Plate Bracket! 100% JDM and +2HP

So now back to the headlights.. an acquaintance of mine gets me vinyl decals in exchange for some graphic design and website help.. he cut these for me the other day... everyone seems to love it! they all laugh at it.. in a good way! (i hope)

Here are a couple interior pics.. Bride neck rests add a nice.. je ne sais quoi!! Stock everything else! I Love the smell of pleather in the mornings!

And thats going to be all for now... ive got lots more coming.. right off the bat i think is window tints, lowering springs, rims, fix the exhaust (needs more of a JDM angle) and most definately front and rear splitters! so stay tuned cause theres lots more coming!

Here is a little photoshop i made to inspire me... and keep me focused! enjoy!

Those gold wheels are photoshopped? I say POWDERCOAT THEM THAT COLOR RIGHT NOW. That looks extremely good. Actually, get yourself some 7gc rims and powdercoat those. That color just goes along great with the red.

Great progress so far! Future plans?

Also, where did you acquire the angled bracket?

as for the angled brackets.... 0.29 cents each @ Home depot!

i drilled out the holes to fit the license plate bolts and bent the bracket to my liking!

It takes 8,460 bolts to assemble an automobile, and one nut to scatter it all over the road.

Celica: The name is derived from the Spanish word for "heavenly" or "celestial".
