Hi.
I did a engine swap a while ago, from 7A-FE (euro spec) to 3S-GE (JDM).
The st202 donor car with the 3sge, did not have airbag, abs, immobilizer, but mine car have, and it worked before the swap.
Also the aircondtion does not seem to work, because the engine idling is not changing when turning it on. There is no gas left but I know on other cars that the engine is working harder even though there is no gas left. There is a green light though on the AC button when turning it on.
The ABS seems to work, because the ABS light is working on the dasboard, but not airbag.

I changed the engine and the wire harnesses, and all the plugs that goes inside the car was fitting on my car.
So my question is, why don't all this functions work?
Is it the ECU that is not supporting all the functions, the problem ?

Just to point out one thing, if your ABS light is on on the dashboard, that means it's not working

Yeah, but it turns off when the engine turns on, it's not on all the time, so its working.

Did you replace the dash harness too? Or did you just do the engine and engine harness swap?

Only engine and engine harnesses.
The plugs that goes inside the car from engine was the same as the old ones, so I didn't see a reason to change what's inside.

ECU has also been swapped ofcourse, using the 3s-ge ecu that was in the donor car....
Does not the ecu have something to do with airbag, immobolizer etc ?

I don't understand. I thought that if the immobilizer function was missing the car would start. But you stated that the car will start and idle just fine and that you are just missing the AC and air bag functions. You could check the interior plugs that comes off the engine harness to see if the pins are exactly the same as the original engine harness.

My car did have immobilizer before the swap, and the donor car didn't have immobobilzer.
Now the immob... doesn't work, because the car can start without having the security chip on the key.
I don't have any problems with the engine, it's just the functions meantioned.

I'm no expert on this so I ask here, but I think I need a ecu from a 3s-ge that had airbag, immobilizer before ?

Well the ecu is from the 3sge with no immobilizer. The ecu isnt programmed to read the security system soo it won't need the key with the chip to start.

OK, so the immobolizer I need new ECU, or activate the immobilizer if possible.
What about the airbag, is it also a part of the ecu system?
And the aircondition, I thought it maybe don't work because the donor car had automatic JDM climate control, while mine only have manual. Maybe the ecu has something to do with this too ?
