take a look into m-factory diffs. They make a decent one for the mr-s. Just ordered mine.

Thanks, but for $650 I think i'd probably spend the extra $300 and get the kaaz. Long drawn out reasoning for this... haha.

I'm only using this for one summer... so I was hoping to get a cheapy helical. If I have to spend over a $500 i'll just get a clutch type which is really what I need.

hey is it possible to buy the oem factory one?? I was looking on a usa website that sells toyota parts and it only sells the transmission. Does anyone have the part number for the MR-S Helical LSD??

Justin search for my post about the mrS diff in the s54 im sure i had a part number there some where


BTW czwalga ur located in Pittsburgh right? how much do u think shipping for a trans is to ur area, cus i have an s54 with a mrS diff already in it that im selling

if you plan on sending the whole transmission with the helical still inside of it, it should be about $100 or less through greyhound. I know this because I got a shipping quote from someone out east about sending me the superstrut suspension conversion set up and he said about $100 for shipping.

ya nvm your better off buying a quaife lsd for a few hundred bucks cheaper!!

so will the differential add any strenght to the tranny, meaning able to hold more power?

The part number is 41301-20230

A bit late but someone may still find it useful.

Incidentally I'm chasing a second hand one if anyone has one and is willing to ship?
