Ok AT is out on our 95 convertible GT so it looks like some garage time! What are the best models that will fit in our celicas with a 5sfe engine? I found one out of a corrolla with 65k for 250 hows that sound? Also anybody have like a parts list of things I should replace while Im in there? or any good advice;)
thanx

Do a manual swap while the tranny has to come out anyway.

The A/T that we have is the A140E. But I second the manual swap....a bit more work up front, but easier maintenance down the line. 250 for a used A/T dosent sound bad, but a bit on the low side if you ask me (used to seeing them go for more), so I would wonder what what wrong with that one (if there was anything wrong). But if you do decide to get rid of your busted one, let me know I might want to buy it off of you and break down/rebuild.

I know that AkiraD1 was looking into this for his camry. I think he found one that was around 300 or so after core charge was refunded. There is a place in Arlington Carry Out Transmissions, have "most" import models for 399.
