I usually rarely visit this forum unless I'm in need of a part or help, but my 95' ST hit 300,000 miles today. Burns oil, but it's still going. Replaced the clutch once, the starter once, and other than a few other minor issues, this car has been rock solid. This is the third Toyota my family has put over 300,000 miles.

I Have 296,000 ST just picked with blown headgasket. Body still in overall good shape
and being stripped to bare shell(as in no susp or glass) for a complete overhaul. If taken care of these cars
will easily do 500,000+ (on the body)

I am actually stopped restoring a 95 hardtop mr2 w/ 2gr to focus on restoring Celica
due to body being in so much better shape than mr2..

my girl is 320000km and still going strong, no smoke, only one timing belt done at 150000km all stock. just goes to show how a toyota engine that is looked after can do alot of kms.

I just went out and looked its 327763.4 km exactly

that has got to be some kind of record for this site surly.

The 7afe may lack power but not many engines can hold up this long with so few problems thumbsup.gif

Mine just hit 210,000. Congrats on 300,000!

My poor car has be stuck at 224000 for the past 2 years, but I'm sure if I had been driving it, she would have hit 350,000 by now! tongue.gif

Thanks everyone, I forgot to check back after I posted that. At one point about a year or two ago my dad came across someone with a 94' that had 402,000 on it. Totally blew my mind. I've taken my car to the same place to have the oil changed since I started driving. They know me as having the highest mileage car of all their customers which really surprised me. I've held out forever on a new car and hopefully the FT-86/FR-S will pan out as something nice. I feel as if I owe it to Toyota to stay loyal but I was kind of keeping my fingers crossed for something a little more mature and less of a Scion (although I think the new concept looks very nice). Also, being from the North East and driving the same front wheel drive car for 10 years that has gotten me through some insane snow, I can't imagine what it would be like to have a real wheel setup in the winter. I was talking to my girlfriend about how my little car has totally commanded my respect through 10 years of sheer reliability and dependence. When it finally dies, I will be very sad...
