Hi i have installed the tein s tech springs and it seems that the front left side of the car is about 7-8mm higher than right one but everything has installed fine the spring sits where it should be. Also I see members with tein springs sit lower than mine, I have about 18mm gap at front-right between tire and fender and about 25mm at the front left with tires 215/45/17. Is that normal?
A friend of mine gave me the springs with about new struts that have for some years in his garage.

Did you replace the shocks at the same time? Difference in height from corner to corner could be caused by bad shocks. My MR2 sits lower on the passenger side due to this.

When did you install them? They take a while to settle in to their permanent height.

edit. Just saw you replaced the shocks.... Since they weren't new, the possibility of them being bad is still there.

My shocks are one month old and were given to me by my friend with the tein s tech springs and he had used his car just for a month with them until he put a full tein coilover kit so my shocks are fine.
I have installed them before two weeks but i think that they suppose to settle down till now because they have one or two months on them by me friend and i m sure that they are not abused so they aren't damaged in any way.

Did it sit un-even like this on his car?
If not I'm thinking you either installed something wrong, or maybe one mount is worn out more than the other

Mounts are also new and i double checked it but everything is installed OK.
I checked the springs and there are sit were they should.
Is it possible that this is happening due to a weight difference by the engine because the engine is not in the center of the engine bay but at right and at the other side is just the gearbox and my car also is right hand drive but i don't know if this is something that is possible to affect.
But there is not very noticeable but that little difference is bother me.

you kno what? now that I think of it, my car sits a little higher on one side, and im on tien s techs too.
Mines LHD and my driver side sits a little lower then the other.
But I didn't change the strus or mounts when I did mine so I thought it was just one side was in worse shape than the other.

I'm not really sure what this could be..

So then the driver side must be a bit heavier than the passenger side because the lower side of mine is on the driver side too, mine is RHD.
