i have aftermarket rims for the summer but i wanted to have something a little different for winter. I have the 15x7 5 spoke alloys and i was wondering what you all thought aboot painting the spokes gunmetal or black and leaving the outer edge the factory polished surface. I like the look of gunmetal with a polished lip rim so i figured i have these sitting around. The car is silver. Let me know what you would do.

Read up on what type of paint to use and some ways of applying it so it will last long and go for it. What do u have to lose. u have nice rims already and these are just sittin there.

silver on black always looks sweet.. i say do it.. if they are for winter they are going to get beat up anyway ... just us like 6 layers of clear coat so the paint will last longer..
