Hey, everyone i got a bit of a situation here, i have a 1994 ST with the 7afe motor and automatic transmission, anyways when i was driving the car out of no where the car started slipping into neutral so i decided to pull over to check stuff out, luckily i did, the car was "pouring" out transmission fluid and yes i did make sure it was transmission fluid not motor oil. and seriously it looked like i was taking a quart of tranny oil and just pouring it out on the ground, it was that bad not exaggeration either, i wish i was though
![]() Overview of it. ![]() I was told this is a breather hole, and this is where the fluid comes out at. ![]() This is the new input shaft seal i replaced. ![]() This post has been edited by rapid3642: Apr 12, 2011 - 3:08 PM |

did you change the pump seal? if its comming out where you say it is it should either be the pump seal or the input shaft seal that you replaced, so it shouldnt be the intput. check the pump seal.

Hey thanks for your suggestion! i was gonna check that but its weird i set my torque converter down and it got all wet from something, so i wiped it off and then a couple minutes after it was wet with transmission fluid again, its weird but its leaking, im thinking this is my problem, ima go to the junk yard and pull one. ill let everyone know if that ends up being the problem or not. Thanks everyone! |
