When i lift up my drivers side electric window, just before it closes there is a sick kindof 'clunck' - anyone know what it could be???

Back when i was drivin a Bronco it did that all the time. Then every time i rolled up the window my door would lock. I eventually took out the door panel and found that one of the parts would be pushed out and up causing it to hit the door lock button. If I were you i would take off the door panel and make sure no parts have come loose.

I noticed that on mine before I bought it. Apparently there was some sort of stop that had become out of alignment. I had the dealer fix it before he sold the car to me, and even though he thought it would be an easy fix, it apparently took him a lot of time and a new part to do it (I think he was just trying to make me feel bad for insisting that he fix the problems with the car.)
Hope that helps. |
