I was talking to my cousin and he was asking me if a intake adapter would work on our cars and I really wasn't sure so can u guys help me. My question was how does the Oxygen sensor hook up or is it just not needed. this is a picture of what I mean by Adapter.

You wont need an adapter if you get an entire intake, and then there should be a hole where you can place the sensor.

I just put the sensor in the filter itself, doesnt matter where you put the sensor really, since it only takes air temperature, just keep it away from the engine...I THINK

that intake adaptor is for if you have an air flow meter...here are pics from my swap in progress:
so, that adaptor is really only for AFM engines, seeing as how the GT and ST 6th gens are both MAP, there will either be a place in the piping to mount your intake sensor, or, if you DIY, you will just need to drill a small little hole.. hope that helps, -John- -------------------- |
