might be overstepping my bounds in saying this but if you dont like it... leave. I have been on here pretty much from the begining at least since before the forums and such. I think this site is continually growing.. we have a ton of members now compared to the 200-300 that where here when I joined. We have one of the best laid out sites on the net (if you dont believe that go hit up some others and you will see how easy and user friendly this site is) - thanks coomer we all owe you a bunch  We have alot of active members that contribute to this site: Huge parts data base Tons of info for the 6gc alot of helpfull how to's we have developed an overall attitude where it is okay to critize each other in the intent that we are all helping each other to achive the best with our cars that we can etc,etc,etc... I personally think this site is perfect in how it works both by design and by the way we all interact with each other.. look im not trying to start an argument with you (that prolly surprises some reading this ) Im just saying that if you dont like something either try and change it or accept it.as for only 30 or so members on well not everyone can be one here all the time.. granted it has slowed down a little.. theres really not much that can be done to cars during the winter.. besides tryin to not wreck em in the slow hang around until spring when everyone starts putting on there new stuff they purchased over winter and you will see the boards pick up.Untill then enjoy it the best you can -------------------- 99 project version 3.0.. hello SEMA 2010 =) |

that's the response you'll get just comin in here and saying it's dying. you've been a member for not even a week. i dont' care how long you lurked, but for being a member for only a week, your opinion really doens't mean anything. unless you can offer some constructive, viable criticism, keep it to yourself. otherwise, you can go bitch about the site to "Neipas09" or "JasonAVs33" (both aim handles). i'm sure you and they could talk about it all day long, and leave everyone else that likes the site alone.

y does everyone used the word "owned?" isnt that a term that originated from video games? thats where i heard it from but i dont use it outside of games...n whats up with those peple who intentionally write "pwned." "pwned" was originally a mistake because "o" is right next to "p" but now people go and intentionally use the "p" instead of the "o"...come on now...thats just silly

i joined up way back when this site was just 300 members...( i'm 331).. well i seen it grow and have gotten lots of useful info from the many wonderful people that have something useful to say... so if you think it's loseing its steam it's cause this stie isn't some other sites out there that just BS on ever board... and like me i know there are many member that will have a lot to show and talk about once spring hits.....

This site has grown impressively. I remember when it was brand new and it looked like it wasn't going to grow...now there's so many parts and info that we never found out in celica.net. Even this forum didn't look promising...and look now...everybody posts here and it's organized and no post whoring...very mature peeps here...even the youngins

very true. for the age percentages we have here there is very little B.S. and drama that goes on, just a few people. overall its awesome! we literally have to do little to no moderation besides a very few people... other than that and moving a few posts to different forums, its all good. the rules here are very basic, nothing out of the ordinary... and just about everyone follows them without a problem at all.

I have said it once and i will say it again.
this site is probably one of the greatest sites on the internet (tech speaking) the facilities and the info are amazing. just compare it to any commercial sites (ie your local banks for example) that spend millions to make it and you will see that this site is fantastic. personally i owned a Celica for 5 years now and the staff i learned from this site in just the 2 months i am a member are unbelievable. personally i cannot understand why would anyone start a topic just for nagging. |

Personally I think that this ia a lame topic. People have their own opinions, but sometimes its better to keep it to yourself. You know what, even if this is "dying" which I don't think it is, whats it matter to you? The people that like this site will stay here and enjoy being here. I love this site. I come to it all the time. Ive learned so much about celicas and have received toms of useful info about doing stuff to my car. I do not post every time I come on here because I don't have anything to say in some of the topics. That could be a reason that there aren't as many posts. Just because there aren't as many posts or people on doesn't mean it is dying. And it is the holiday season. People are busy now.
Anyway, I want to give COOMER great and many thanks for starting this site. I love it and there will always be loyal fans of the site. I am sure that many will agree with me. THANKS FOR THE SITE COOMER |
