Ok I opened my hood to change my valve cover gasket and paint my valve cover, until i noticed a loose wire near my driver side fender and firewall..
My question for you guys is what is this wire to and what's its purpose. Thanks for your input and help! ![]() |

Doesn't look OEM, looks like an add-on signal wire for something. The connector has both sides attached, but no wire on the one end.

especially where it goes into the firewall like that, not OEM.
