I was the first to review the BC's with the welded bottoms and its been a few years now. Not a single crack or fault has developed.
You're worried about the weight of the car being on them but you're forgetting it's pressing on it not pulling apart. The cosworth's used to have a similar connection with their shocks to the hubs and they're just clamped on for the ralley races.
I wouldnt worry if I where you. Just get the BC's as they're the best value for money upgrade you can get for the four.

Hi,

i also use the BC suspension, and i'am with yellow when he said best value for money upgrade
i also use c-one swaybars which makes the more/safer driveable in curves

please note that i found ~0,2mm clearance between the oem ss-arms and the BC coilover, so we pressed out the old ss-arm inserts and
manufactured a new oversized one and mounted it by heat before we welded both together

but some time ago BC was asking for SS-arms to built a plug&play coilover kit, the last i know is that they come in contact with KYB which
is the OEM of that arms, so possible they can now offert a full p&p kit
