Been looking for some bushings for my st184 and I can't seem to find them at a decent price. I want to convert to polyurethane bushings, but it seems it'll be around $300 for a full kit (because nobody sells as a "kit", just separate bushings)

Do you 6gc guys have it the same? Does anybody know if they're interchangeable with 5th gen celicas?

Hey check out this site.
Not sure if they have what you're looking for, but when I replaced my front control arm bushigs on my 6th gen, this was literally the only place I could find that made replacement bushings.
And they also make the rear lateral arm bushings as well, and sell them in a kit.
So maybe you'll have some luck.

is there 5th gen bushings available here in the States. The rear shocks from 6th and 5th gen are the same exact size, so the bushings should be the same.

They definately do. Well to Canada at least.
I order my LCA bushings from him, and was very cooperative and helpful ensuring that all the parts were right before I ordered.
I'm almost positive they ship to the states because I found that site through other memebrs on this forum

I don't htink so, because the bushings from toyota were not made to be replaced, they were meant to replace the whole component when the bushing wheres out.(that was the case with front lower control arm bushings on the 6th gen)
So I'm thinking its the same for a 5th gen, that link may be your only replacement bushings.

He ships over here. The only problem I find with these is they are so expensive. Makes me wish I had an MR2 to get Prothane bushings for $100 for the whole car haha

Yea they are very pricey, but unfortunately are the only option.

Considering that polyurethane is not as much a "wear item" as rubber is... they're worth it to an extent. It's almost as if the added rigidity was a bonus in my eyes. Just tired of old, worn bushings.
