st202gt did the bumper come pre drilled or will the holes have to be drilled to mount it. Also will the stock turn signals fit. You're the first one I've seen with the bumper so keep us updated if you can.

i've never taken off the front bumper on my 6th gen. when putting my kit on my 5th gen i went into doing it bacily not knowing anything. nonoe on here can really telll you how to do it. its just getting down and finding screws and rivets.

as for your kit. i originaly intended to go with a 404 lip but my front bumepr is kinda of cracked from previous owner. it really would make more sense to get a replacment bumper versus fixing and then mounting the lip on my car.

Please keep us updated on fitment issues.

I believe that there are 4 places you have to remove screws from to get the stock bumper off. Theres 4 or 5 under the hood at the front, several along each fender well and then a few more underneath.
When I took mine off one time, I just started unbolting everything and then you can tell where you are being held on and go from there. Just make sure to keep all the bolts and screws organized so you know where they came from. Its a relatively easy thing to get loose.

- Will the front bumper fit nice on ur car without adjustment ?

And can someone post his pics ? Imagestation sucks !!!! If not email me the pics and i will upload them so that everyone can see them.

By bumper bar, are you talking about the metal bar that is behind that gaurds the car from front-on collisions?

Did it look like there was any way for you to leave the "bumper bar" on by modifying it maybe. I'd really like this bumper but I wouldn't die for it. Can't wait to see how it looks on your car.

Man that looks mighty nice...looks like the fitment is pretty good to me. That may be something to look into, but i have some ideas of my own if i bought it. wink.gif

Also, how does the ground clearance look with that bumper on? It doesnt look too bad, but about how many inches of clearance do you think there is between the bumper and the ground?

that looks really sweet
also, did it look like it would be possible at all to modify the bumper or bar so that you could still keep the bar there because I would really like to keep it there being as its the main safety feature for the front end

If you do end up needing 96+ lights, you can get clear ones from procarparts.com for less than $40 before shipping, but it'd probably look a lot better with the clear sides also then

it hard find the rite light to stick in place where the bumper light goes in....I will the 90-93 bumper lights does fit due to no side pannel to drilled... but the kit doesn't have a place to drilled the light to.. maybe i will have to custom a small bricket to fit in the light and screw it into.........will post pics later when finished ..

ST202GT, how's this project going? Did you find the right turn signals? You might try emailing VIS to find out cause I think they are the ones who make it for cyberbestbuy.

^
im with him

not only that, but the bar doesn't have TOO much to it.
i mean, depending on where it's connected it's just made to take blows from dif angles, cutting it would probably onle leave some angles more vulnerable
