so when i go to roll down my window it starts off slow, then you see the glass drop down like 1/4 of an inch with a clunk then rolls down nice and smooth, then you go to roll it up starts off fast gets to a certain point and it slows down, at the same time its slightly spreading door frame apart, few days ago it pushed the door frame apart enough to make it hard to shut my door(wouldn't catch) and finally corrected itself. when you look into the door frame you can see the regulator twisting when it starts to slow down. i tightened all the bolts/nuts. tried to adjust track angle, that did nothing. cant find anything in the haynes manual. just wondering if anyone else has had this issue... the track is not sticky, cables look fine...hopefully someone can shed some light.

Never heard of the regulator twisting.....I would pull it all out, then plug it back in outside of the door and actuate it. But if you need a new motor I've got one for the drivers side just laying around. But it sounds like your cable is getting bound up or is a bit off track. Maybe someone here who has had a similar issue can chime in.

windows are both interior or exterior tanner so therefore would you rather one thread or 2? you obviously did not read my thread tanner. motor works fine, its greased. i guess i will remove it and take regulator apart.
MODS PLEASE DELETE THREAD. obviously people here dont like to help unless your doing an engine swap or modding....typical of all forums dealing with one model of car. This post has been edited by opie_7afe: Mar 1, 2012 - 6:34 PM |

its not you spider, its every time someone asks a question that is not found easily. happened a few times so far and people suggest things ive tried, i always try before even coming on here as getting a problem solved here sometimes is like trying to find a needle in a haystack....just dont put up with people who do not read the original post and suggest things i have already done...trust me it happens to most forums geared towards one make/model of car all the ones ive been on only help with mods or engine swaps most of the time....and that is why i barely come here.......as always with stuff i need to figure it out for myself.

Well, when you find out what the problem was, report back.....i'd be interested to know what would cause your issue.
