I've had my window covered up with cardboard because I removed the engine harness etc with the old engine, and now I need to get my window rolled up ASAP - theres got to be a way to manually crank the window motor/regulator to get the window up, right?

Appreciate the help!

Bad weather on the way? May just be easier to get a tarp and cover the car. Only way I could think to do it without forcing the motor would be to remove the glass from the regulator and block it.

You can always take your battery, hook up a pos. and neg jumper wires ( about 12 gauge wire or even heavy speaker wire ) jump it at the switch or jump it at the window motor

this is what i ended up doing. tore the door card apart and unplugged the regulator... solid grn and solid red wires and hooked the battery up to the pins in the plug. worked like a charm.
