Hey. I just bought a 97 Celica GT about a month ago and I can't find any local emblems to replace the ones at the rear of the car because the previous owner riced it out. He took off all the emblems and added a GT-FOUR sticker, TRD Emblem. I'm from Fresno, Ca. Thanks.

If you're talking about the standard, stock silver Toyota logo I will check my local Pull-A-Part for one. Will get back to you by Sunday.

Alright, I'll hit the yard today and see if the silver '96 liftback is still there with the emblem.

PM me if you find one. If you can. Can you strip all the emblems for me?

Bad news, it's already been picked clean for the rear emblems and the front bumper is gone so no front either. I'll keep an eye out for others.

mine got knocked/pulled off when it was moved from one shop to another (long story), so ive got one sitting right in front of me. (sorry but i would like to put it BACK on)

my question is how do you put these damn things back on? they have two holes but you cannot get to the back of the mounts from the inside of the trunk... do you just glue it in place? what type of glue/epoxy should be used?

Double sided tape. Heat it with a hairdryer/heatgun for better adhesion.

Silly, you've scoured the junkyards right?

I would sell you mine, but then there'd be holes where I don't want them. redface.gif Not just the Celica has the same badge for the front. The way the rear badge is it's most likely unique for the Celica, but the front was definitely used on multiple cars. The front badge specs are as such:
Height: 6.2cm
Width: 8cm

Local junkyards don't have any 6th gen celicas. I know there's one in Fresno but it's one of them junkyards that doesn't part. They want you to buy the whole piece. Last time I went to ask for a pigtail and they told me I'll have to buy the whole harness....

I was wandering if the 5th gen Celica rear emblem fitted ours.

The 5th gen Celica rear badge looks to be the same as our front. Our rear badge is weird, has the platform to it to make sit flush with the body.
