Thanks guys, Jesse that looks great, the decal is made the same scale as the engraved version off my drawing, and honestly way easier than painting the engraved letters. I have had a dozen different ones on my car, and it is really hard to tell these from the engraved ones.

I will install the dragon one and get a pic, I had it on, and it looks pretty cool, if I didn't already have the dragon on my grill, I would be rocking it on my car.

here is the dragon one, other emlems may also fit with the same pattern, but it comes with this one.
Also the t20 96 aniversery and 97 limiteds do have dragons, on the fenders and above the mirror
The 97 limiteds also has them on the front floormats.

I was going to use apex86's picture (with permission)from the other thread that showed his with a gtfour decal
he put on it but the thread is locked. His came out great, and very unique.

Will this help against the rain?? Because the water rolls thru the holes.
I made a plate of transparant acrylglas to cover the engine.

I just reduces heavy spray, it is alluminum so it also dissipates heat as well, it is in between the stock gt4 shield and nothing.
If you block the airflow completely the hood does not work as it was intended. Many people run them wide open and
have no issues at all. You would be better off running it wide open than blocking airflow completly.

Edit: you are also going to have a small lake in the middle of your hood if you block this area off completly.

No he makes decals to the original engraved specs. I really wanted to have some anodized, I just have no funds to do it. It would raise the price about
$20.00 per unit to have this done and they are not selling at 65.00 each so raising the price, and investing more money I don't have is just not an option.

Right now I have the original cost of the parts, about $80 in packaging supplies (probably another $30 or $40 will be needed for remaining 12), and $63 in decals (discounted price for buying quantity). The shipping on these average 10 to 15 dollars each. It all adds up, and money is tight these days,
if I was working, I would just spend the money for anodizing and let them sit without much concern, but I have to budget with care atm. I probably spend more on shipping supplies than most people would, but these ship worldwide and I don't take chances.

I am not sure, they fit the pattern of the grill on the gt4 hood if you use the same grill it will probably fit.

I have been modifing longboards and utilizing aluminum strips for dropthru conversions.

Whatever color you paint it. I think they would look good if they were painted the same color as the car,
and as far as I know it has never been done. Decal colors are down to black.

wich one do you have left? with GT-Four on it/cut out ?

I was a little confused as I have never engraved gt four on these. I guess someone on gt4oc
has copied these and is selling gt4 cutout versions there. The original design was identical to mine
with GT4 cut in it, but they have since changed the center section a little to spell it out GT-FOUR.
I pesonally think the font used looks cheesy as hell and apexs86's decal version looks way better.
I might be biased tho. lol

Quick question to those who have installed this, did you folks keep the insulation under the hood on? I am missing a few plastic push-pins, and one of the corners was drooping down whenever I opened the hood, so I took it off entirely. Will this be a concern for when I get to drive the car and the engine gets hot?

I never had any insulation, my hood was painted on both sides, not as much heat from the 7afe,
but I have never heard of any issues not having it.

Well, I have one I was keeping for sentimental reasons, it is black anodized, but the anodizing is pretty rough on topand has been painted
black. The back anodizing seems fine, the top could be repainted and be very nice.

This is an original engraved version, it lacks the extra slots that were added later. This is one of the first 15 ever made
it flew with me to CSP in sept 07 and sold originally for $100, I bought it back, and unfortunatly now it has to be sold.
