sup everyone hows it going?
well im purchasing a supra this month , well i hope to purchase one this month. Problem i have though is that all the good prices are out of state and i find a good amout of decent prices on Ebay And AutoTrader, now AutoTrader i can pretty much trust because i have friends that have bought there cars out of state from the AutoTrader but what about Ebay? would it be safe to purchase a SUPRA from Ebay? just a lil scared here you know, i dont want to get Ripped because that'll be alot of money stolen. well hope you guys can help me out here thanks. generally you do a little calling before purchasing a car anywhere. its generally a safe place. my friends dad got a bmw off ebay and got a really good deal on it

well email and call .. and if you win ... and can drive out of state with a friend do it and hand over that cash in person you can also check out the car befor any money changes hands

yea you dont buy a car from anywhere blind, ebay is no different, contact the seller, see what kind of deal you can make with him, see if you can get someone from the board who is in the area to test drive it for you or atleast go look at it before buying it... just dont go at it blind and you'll have no problem.

dont buy a car that you cant see or drive in person. contact the seller, drive down to see the car, make an offer.

I know some kid in my school bought an IS300 from Ebay. (Or actually it was his dad for him, rich asshole.) Anyway, he got it with no problems from what I've gathered. I live in MD and I think he bought it from Texas or something without ever seeing it. But, personally, I wouldn't do that.

my uncle bought a 97 supra from ebay. we live on the east coast (connecticut) and he bought it from someone in ohio i think. flew out there, and drove it back here. autotrader.com is where i found my celica.

My dad bought a 71 Porsche 914 on ebay. He loves it, and it was exactly as described. A little difficult to work out shipping. He had never seen it, but it was just as described.

My friend got a lotus of ebay.... all headaches.... I would check out the car first his lotus had the engine all messed up, they had to junk it the repair was like 25-50 grand or somin
