 Can A newer Celica motor fit in my celica???? |

I have a 97 Celica ST and I wana do a motor swap, unfortunately I can not afford the 3sgte...so I wanted to know if a motor out of the newer celicas will fit in my older one....Please help.

read the last post i made on the above thread, then consider doing a V6. there are more and more of these V6 swaps happening and they are much cheaper than the 3S-GTE, and parts are easily available
