I'm currently working with CyberBestBuy about a potential aftermarket hood style.

Post any styles you'd like to see and agree or concur with peoples opinion.

Personally I do not like the TRD style hood because of the place that the two grills would be.

Any others I missed? I know I did, but post suggestions and other photos of hoods (Even on other cars - or you photoshop masters can put them on ours)

EDIT: I just got a price tag of around 339 for Neipas's invader style and at least 10 people need to be in this.

i like the style of the TRD the best too but take into consideration how the hood curves and having the screens there.

the invader is excellent too and at a price of 339 no one can complain compared to the 500 for a trd one

more then likely carbon fiber. I am just seeing everyones opinions to try to find enough people to follow through with this group buy.

if interested add your name in this thread with what hood youd be interested in ... personally i think both the invader and the predator would be phat and for 339 and shipping you cant go wrong.

edit: oh, and can someone some better pictures of an predator type hood (any car)

list:
1. andason - pred or inv

I'd be very interested in getting either a CF invader or predator hood. My stock hood is all bent outta shape due to it smacking against my windshield while doing about 50. Come to find out, my hood latch assembly is rusted up and the spring wasn't pulling back to hold the latch in place. Would anyone happen to know where I'd be able to get new latch parts? 339 sounds just about delicous for what I'm seeing, but I don't want another hood on my windshield, feel me?

Phat's is very much like the CHD Tuning vents, and that would definitely be my ideal hood. So yup.. that's my vote.

does any one know if they still produce, or would produce the hood by c-one motorsports? i saw the front bumper on cyberbestbuy, but no info on that hood. it is built like a gt-4, i don't have a pic but it's the same one in the parts database under "c-one bodykit".

I have the OEM style CF hood, any one interested?

Also, maybe I can one c-one hood from Japan. I can find a great factory to make the CF hood. I guess it cost not more than USD380(shipping not included) if there more than 15 people want it.

thats not a bad price, but I think shipping overseas would be killer for something of that size. also didn't you tell me that you didn't have much faith in your factory's ability to make carbon fiber products?

That's another factory. They only make CF hoods export to Europe. They only deal with big companies. I guess they will deal with me if we can get 15 people. Actually, I need to check the details.

Yes, the shipping should be quite expensive. If we really get enough people, I suggest sending all the hoods to one of the member's place and re-distribute by that guy. I think this is the cheapest way of delivery. So, if you guys are really want to get that hood, better to find a in-charge of it. Then I can deal with the in-charge and check the shipping cost.

At last, I'm not sure I can get it or not. But at least there should be enough people interest in that.

Yea, this Interest was originally for the Top Secret Supra style...
C-One style is going on right now. It is a fiberglass hood wrapped in Carbon Fiber. Just as light weight, and aesthetically beautiful.
