$9,000 i am lowering the price again, this is the rock bottom lowest i will go on this car so dont ask. i need this car gone before i ship out to the army, otherwise its going to go down to my parents farm to get stored for god knows how long. i have it for sale locally but i would prefer it to go to one of you guys, some one that knows these cars and would take care of it.

first off it is awd. it is a swap, so it is 100% legal. the donor car was sent over from japan cut in half then it was swapped to an american vin celica over the course of about 3 years. everything on this car was done correctly and was dailyed for 3 years before i bought it, now it mostly sits in my garage staying clean.

it is relatively stock minus bc coilovers, turbo back exhaust, boost controller, hks ssqv bov, aem wide band. brand new 17x7.5 bbs rs reps with brand new 215/45/17's 25mm spacer in the front and 35mm spacer in the rear.

the exterior has all the nice gt4 goodies, including oem kouki projector headlights, kouki tailights, oem gt4 riser blocks, oem aluminum gt4 hood, oem gt4 fenders and bumper, jdm folding mirrors

interior is pretty stock too minus a couple gauges, kouki front and rear seats, navi uinit, and head liner a,b,c pillars covered in black alcantera

the only bad on this car is it has 2 torn cv boots got a quote to fix them, and was going to do it this winter when im not driving it, and the windshield squirters dont work, but other than that i have never had a problem with it.

thanks for looking. if you have any questions dont hesitate to ask smile.gif

you can text me @ 503-481-452o

I remember this car being up for sale on NASIOC...Sucks to see it back on the selling block, as its a gorgeous car. Sucks even more you are all the way in washington. Lol btw you should post pics up of the conversion process like before, to show how good of a conversion was done. This is the only "converted" celi i would buy..

Should've kept it LHD imo, better resale value. And LHD GT4's are rare, even if they're swapped. wink.gif

The car is beautiful though, good luck with the sale.

go to ebay.com (usa website) and type in the search : ST202 Celica. There is a front set of SS-III covers for $190. THere are also two other set of complete rear ss-III seats. Just ask the buyer if he can seperate them from the seat. Should be able to get everything for $300 before shipping.

the motor and gauge cluster came from the same car. it hasnt been dynoed, i took it to the track once and made 4 passes with a best et of 13.6 with a crappy launch, it does keep up with evo's and e46 m3's just fine....
as for the brakes, the only thing from the american celica that remained is the body itself, everything was swapped, cant really run the AWD with the american drum set up.

yup know about that, i mentioned before long time in the forums that st202 and st205 were the best ways to search for parts on ebay. but its still expensive after shipping. just thinking he might have a good connection for cheap seats. Most sellers dont wanna part the seats for just the covers. plus to me its cool to have the st202 seats but its a bit loud in color but at the same time I dont mind having them which makes me entirely not eager to buy it or pay a whole lot for it because of mixed feelings on it, i'd rather run 7gc seats if i was going to pay good money.

Wow, that's terrible... This could have happened to anyone. It could have been any of our wives/girlfriends/sisters walking along and it could have been any of us behind the wheel. It's fortunate that there was no reckless driving involved, but its still a tragedy for both Mr. Fister and the girl involved. It's definitely a reminder to always pay attention when you're behind the wheel. My condolences go out to everyone involved.

leave it to player to be the first one to go there heh heh

Ive been searching for more details of this accident all day, still no updates, I feel for both sides of the situation and I can only imagine how he must feel, but I still would like to figure out why the hell she stopped and was walking on the freeway

hey guys thanks for all the kind words. so this is what happened, the car was sold to a guy named t.c. in bellingham and i live in portland, so i told him i would drive it up to seattle for him, so he wouldn't have to drive all the way down here. well i got up there we exchanged $ bill of sale and title. and i had him drop me off at seatac so i could catch the next flight back to portland. he had the car no more than a hour and a half when this happened. he was driving back north to bellingham when he hit her while he was in the center lane, he said he didnt even see her, it was too dark. from what i gathered from him was that she was trying to leave the scene of an earlier accident and was running across the freeway to get away, and may have ben intoxicated. we talked for about a half hour today, and he is super bummed. which i dont blame him for. he is going to put the car back together, he mainly just needs wind shield, bumper, hood, radiator, new projectors. i think he is going to order a whole front clip so he has extra everything. thanks guys, im sure he appreciates the condolences

HOLY SH*T

That might be the worst 6gc luck of all time... We've all had bad **** happen to us.... rave, myself, kurt..... (every 6gc member ever it seems like)
But this, a RHD 205 swap complete with AWD, legally owned in the states.... LITERALLY 1 of a possible 5? 6? that we know of....
and you only have it for an hour before you not only wreck it.... but kill a person in the process of doing so, in a fashion that was in no way shape or form your fault....

WOW that story is by far the worst bad luck story I've EVER to this day seen on this site.... if you could come up with a worse scenario I'd be glad to hear it....

You gotta remember, lightweight aluminium hood vs heavy steel hood. Plus the obviousness of physics. I can take a slug and throw it at your chest and all your gonna be is annoyed, but if I shoot it at you faster than the speed of sound, you have a hole in you the size of an orange.

I thought about the hood differences.... but wasn't sure if anyone was privy to the DRASTIC differences between aluminum and steel

I can't imagine he was traveling faster than 70-75 though.... unless he was stretching his new car's legs out...

That's just terrible. Can't really put it into words, after seeing that picture... I know I'd have to sell the car, I couldn't handle keeping a car that killed another person. Regardless of it not being my fault... Still... I highly suggest the new owner seeing a therapist, I know I'd have to.

That is SAD... And yea, putting durability of metals in vehicles into perspective, I nailed a white-tail doe at about 40mph in a ford ranger a few weeks back, and it bent something which pushed the bumper back about an inch... deer couldn't have weighed more than 100lbs, and i was only doing 40... yet i can beat the **** out of that same bumper and no movement what so ever. doubling the weight and speed along with cutting the strength of the front end in half, it's easy to see that kind of damage... still a sad situation though.

I'll let y'all know if I end up with the same/worse luck once I finally get my 3yr FF/3S-GTE swap running... richee3 knows exactly what I'm talking about.

Looking at the car again, its is completely salvageable. Although, BOX you are right. Ive seen some mess in my time, involving dead bodies and such and i couldnt even think about driving a car that killed someone...Much less the graphics that would play in my head after the fact. To the new owner i really hope the best for you as well!

Just heard about this car being wrecked in a completely unrelated post on Facebook. Talk about bad luck...

How's the owner doing? Was it ever fixed?
