Reaching out to the GT4 folks on here, I have a GT4 ST205 cluster in my ST204 celica. While converting the wiring over to match up for the cluster there is no light for the SRS airbag system in the GT4 cluster. Is there a way the GT4 notifies you if the system is not working? I still have the wiring in my car so I can technically just wire in an LED somewhere to check this, but I'd like to get it as close to the GT4 setup as possible.

Thanks!

Will post some pics soon

I believe that certain models did not have airbags in the car

So remove airbags and be closer to being a GT4! biggrin.gif

airbags are optional on all jdm models

some have them, mine has it, some dont

the light bulb socket will be blanked out on your cluster, its possible the tracks are there on the pcb and you can put a bulb in it and repin the socket, i personally dont know tho

Also what year is it from too?? I actually dont recall seeing a 94-95 jdm celica with airbags, but if they did it would be driver only.

I know its definitely not a model thing they were optional with all 6gens from 1996 onwards

the airbag light is on the right side of the cluster, first bulb on the bottom row, looks like a man with a big ball infront of it.

From what I can remember, my 1995 Celica (non airbag) had a blanked out 4WS light there instead, my 1996 celica (non airbag) had a blanked out airbag light there and ofcourse my 1996 gt-four has airbags so the light is there and goes out a second or 2 after u turn the key

i'm not sure what year my st205 cluster is from, but I suppose it was a model without airbags. I'm going to take the warning light panel from my st204 cluster and repin things to work with that so I can still have the SRS light on there. I'll show some pics soon.. I think I have it all figured out, just gotta customize a few more things
