I know i have to change my clutch, but the pedal feels so hard is unbelievable.

Just want to see if this is something thats across all celicas. After driving another clutch, that feels so easy, this celica feels like its an 1800 ford.

this is why i love the southbend clutches so much. they have a lighter pedal feel but grab about 20-30% stronger than an OEM clutch

I want a manly mans rock hard clutch though. I miss that about my celica, among other things

Maybe it's just me, but I find the clutch on the Celica to be very easy. Very smooth, with just enough firmness to it. (insert sexual joke here) If you want a hard clutch, jump into something with a big block V8.

The clutch is always hard when its old, all that dust and crap from the clutch gets into the pivot points for the clutch fork and the throwout bearing.

The new clutch will feel feather light since it has fresh lube, at least mine did.

In sexual context, your clutch is hard because it needs lube.

Should've felt mine at the meet. It's firmer than a 5S clutch but not leg-breaking. I personally can't stand wimpy clutch pedals. It was a bit more firm at first but it's about perfect (for me) right now.
