Next was probably the biggest mistake ive ever done to my car, i bought 70 dollar adjustable lowering sleeves, slapped them on my stock struts, and destroyed all four of my struts, i endured almost 6 months of bouncing all over the road with these!

It was lower, but i was not happy with the ride!
http://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-snc7...135206585_n.jpg

This is where i starting falling in love with my car, and seeing that it actually had potential!

me!

plasti dipped the wheels, then threw some coats of white paint and primer!

After this i started going to more car meets, stance shows, etc, and in 2010 i started getting into what is called the Stance and Fitment scene.
http://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-snc7...596215913_n.jpg

Decided to make my own version of eyelids, everyone did the angry ones, so i mad mines high/sleepy,

I got bored of the white, decided to go a little more head turner, if you will,
painted them tiffany bluish, aqua,

Then i bought an NRG quick realease hub, an NRG hub, and a cheapo steering wheel, installed it in about 30 minutes, love this mod!

Removed the wing, love this look now!

Finally saved up for a 130 dollar Grip Royal Woodie wheel!

Started lookin into coilovers, cuz i wanted to be lower! and i wanted that awesome coilover ride!
so i got Megan racing super street coilovers,

Installed them at night because i couldnt wait!

What a beautiful masterpeice is the coilover!

Lower them all the way in the back, but then we had to raise them a little, because the amount of camber!

AWWW YEAAAH!

Still had too much wheel gap in front, so i removed 2 of the 3 locking rings (dont worry, got the idea from pro drifters that want more low to!)

My car next to my moms accord

One random day my cv axle falls out of the cylinder that goes into the trans, and aparently something hit and broke the locking ring that hold the boot on,
so my buddy pushed me all the way home, and bought me a new cv axle, God bless him. Notice i also made a home depot lip that morning!

Bought a horn button for my wheel,

Test fitted my buddy's xxrs but they where not my bolt pattern and a tad bit to big for my wheel wells,

The only toyota in the crew!

I also tinted my side windows by myself, the recent pics show the new tint, didnt take any pics of me doing the work, it was too hot that day!
I will be updating this thread everytime i do something to my car, getting a new tire, a fender, and saving up for ss3 splitters, and if someone can please post a link of clear front blinkers for preface bumpers, i would apreciate it!, cant seem to find them any where!

Meh, wood belongs in old cars too. As far as the shifter goes, if I wanted a shifter that tall I'd drive a truck. tongue.gif But to each their own, I'm an old man with traditional views when it comes to cars. tongue.gif

Yup, if it's a 240z then it's between 1970 and 1975 I believe and 260z is 1974-76 or thereabouts. I think wooden steering wheels are a little odd on 80s and 90s cars, but I looove chrome. I'd chrome my body if I could. Watch me gleam as I walk!

Some cars past 1970 it's ok. Like if the rims on that Datsun were smaller, I'd be ok with it. I just don't like big shiny wheels, yes I'm talking to you specifically "donk" owners. laugh.gif

Here's one I polished earlier this year. Its not chrome, but its pretty shiney.

I don't like big wheels on classics either.

Dude, keep updating this thread. Forget about what anyone said. I for one , like the exterior mods. Interior wise, I like the wheel, everything else, your car, your mods. You like it, and thats what counts. Keep the pics coming.

Funny how members on here support those with bodykits and get butthurt when someone mentions how ugly or past their time those bumpers are, but yet make fun of a guy who's trying to make his car enjoyable to himself. If you don't like it, cool. But don't insult the guy.

I think Edser was trying to suggest some lovely interior touches, and I for one shall not stop him in his endeavor. In fact:

Per the car, I like the wheel color. Something different.
