Hello I am in the look of an aftermarket product that monitors boost pressure, oil pressure, rpm, speed etc and much more.
Now the thing is that it comes out as a normal edition and a second edition also for OBDII cars. I am not aware at the moment what do we have in our celica st205 cars. Mine is a 1994 car but i have read that OBDII was in some cars of 1994 and in every car after 1996. Does anyone know if our celicas have this system? Do i really need to buy the unit with the OBDII edition or is it just a plug and play stuff? Does the normal edition work the same with the required sensors? Thanks. |

Ok look under the driverside dash. Try to find an obd2 code reader. If you cannot find the obd2 code reader then try looking by the passenger dash for the obd1 code jumper.

The requirement years for OBD-II was for the US only. Being the GT-Four was only marketed to Japan, Europe, etc... it most likely has JOBD or EOBD.

i asked dr.tweak once about a usdm 3s-gte in my '99 with obd2, and he told me that toyota never made an obd2 3s-gte. which is probably why they stopped bringing the mr2 to the states after 95.
